We need your support. Without a committed and active committee, our teams and our Club will struggle to thrive and grow. We have a lot of exciting ideas for the next few years, with a strong focus on coach and player development to grow our U10 and U12 grades to provide steady player numbers in our U14 - U18 grades, both boys and girls.
First a quick reminder on trophies and our Windup/AGM.
Can all team managers please ensure that they send through final team attendance numbers for the windup by 15 March. We need to ensure that we have enough entry tickets (these now need to be purchased prior to the event by the Club) for all coaches, team managers and players attending; and that we have enough food and drink for all attendees (we are catering for all who RSVP including family members) which includes a sausage sizzle, cold drinks and sushi for parents and Club volunteers and an icecream for junior players. RSVP to be emailed to Anne at registrar@panthersbasketball.com.au by 15 March.
Trophies: This year, every junior team (U12s - u18s) can present two awards: Fairest and Best, and Coach’s Award. Coaches please send your recipient and award names to Miera at secretary@panthersbasketball.com.au by 9 March. Coaches can determine the award category eg Fairest and Best, Most Improved, Best Team Player, Coaches Award etc. Note: U10s will each receive a Club medallion.

By joining the committee, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of our club. No experience is required, and we’ll provide all the support you need to succeed.
Whether you’re passionate about basketball, want to give back to the community, build your job skills, or be part of a great team, we encourage you to volunteer for a committee position. You can even nominate yourself!
All positions are declared vacant at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), which means you can nominate for any position. Please note that we are definitely seeking a new President and Secretary, with a couple of other office bearers also indicating that they would like to be able to step back into general committee roles due to changing commitments.
